Book accompanying the exhibition with the same title held at the DAM, Frankfurt, which took place from 28 September 2018 to 13 January 2019. With the help of Georgian and German experts, the historical layers of this city in its current stage of transformation and with all its contradictions have been examined. On one hand Georgia follows the last architectural trends; on the other hand self-structured and self-invented utopias are placed here. Interviews with Jürgen Mayer H. and Graft will reflect the experiences of German architects who have built in the country. Finally, the last section of the book is dedicated to young local architects and designers.
