Support the Gallery
As for all galleries and museums, the pandemic-related closures and contact restrictions are also a huge challenge for Architektur Galerie Berlin. Last year alone we had to cancel 4 exhibitions as well as several events, including the one celebrating the gallery’s 20th anniversary – and unfortunately there is no end in sight.
That’s why we’re inviting you to take part in our “Support the Gallery” campaign. By purchasing a hand-signed photograph of your favorite exhibition from the series “Storefront Images” or a set of postcards featuring all 55 images from the series, you can help keep the gallery running and support our anniversary exhibition “Architektur Galerie Berlin XX” planned for May 2021.
With his “Storefront Images” series, architectural photographer Jan Bitter has been documenting the gallery’s compelling exterior view during each of its exhibitions since 2010. The complete series will be added to the collection of the Deutsches Architekturmuseum DAM (German Architecture Museum) in Frankfurt/Main this year.
